Donation & Refund Policy

Thank you for supporting Chiefs of the Century for Children (CCC). Your generosity helps us provide food, shelter, education, and protection to children and families in need.

We value every donation and aim to handle all contributions responsibly and transparently.

1. Donations

• Donations made to CCC are used to support our humanitarian programs, including children’s education, family aid, emergency relief, and community development.
• Unless specified otherwise, your donation will be directed to the area of greatest need to ensure funds are used effectively.
• All donations are in Australian dollars (AUD) and are tax-deductible where applicable.

2. Secure Payments

• CCC uses trusted and secure payment gateways to process all online donations.
• Your personal and financial details are protected through encrypted connections.
• CCC does not store your full credit card or bank details.

3. Errors in Donations
We understand that mistakes can happen. If you believe an error was made in your online donation, please contact us as soon as possible.
You have 60 days from the date of donation to request a review or correction.

Please include:

• Your full name
• Contact details (email, phone number, or address)
• Date and amount of donation
• Receipt number (if available)
• Reason for the refund request

4. Duplicate Donations
If you accidentally make a duplicate donation, please notify us within 60 days so we can process a refund or allocate the funds as you wish.

5. Refund Eligibility

• Refunds are not normally provided if you simply change your mind after making a donation.
• CCC will review refund requests on a case-by-case basis to ensure fairness and transparency.
• If a refund is approved, we will return the amount to the same account or card used for the original payment.
• Any bank or transaction charges related to the refund may be deducted from the refunded amount.

6. Errors by CCC
If CCC makes an error in processing your donation, we will correct it and refund the full amount immediately, covering any associated fees.

7. Cancellation of Recurring Donations
If you have set up a recurring donation and wish to cancel or change it, please contact us at least 5 business days before your next scheduled payment.

8. Unforeseen Circumstances
In cases where CCC is unable to deliver a specific program due to unforeseen events (such as natural disasters, war, or legal restrictions), donations may be redirected to another project of similar purpose and urgency.
